Charles Wang Live With Mike Francesa Thursday Afternoon

(UPDATE - Sunday, 3:40 PM - due to the length of today's Mets game, the Charles Wang interview has been postponed. I will get back to you when I know more)

Hey guys - just got this alert and wanted to pass it along to you.

Mike Francesa of WFAN is a great friend to the Islanders organization, but he is sadly not the most informed. I've heard him many times talking about the Lighthouse in ways that are either ill-informed or simply not true.

Thankfully, Charles Wang will be on the show tomorrow to set him straight. He should be on tomorrow, Thursday, sometime around 5:30 PM. It will be a straight interview, so people will not be able to call in.

Click here to listen to the interview live, if you won't be near a radio.

  1. ahhh good ole mike francessa... as a mets fan i despise him but this is good, the more time spent on radio waves, tv and newspaper discussing the project in an informed manner; by people who will present accurate information the better.

  3. Nice to see they're giving a prime slot to a hockey-related discussion. I can't remember the last time I heard hockey during drive time on the FAN. Hopefully Francesca won't get too sidetracked screaming about moving Joba to the bullpen.

  4. Hey Nick

Glad i could help with inspiring a new post for your blog. Can't wait to read it.

What can fans that won't have a vote, or live outside of your area do to be an influence? Would showing up at some of these meetings do any good?

  5. I went to Suozzis Facebook page and he is bragging in there, saying he set up the meeting so I let him know how I feel, you should too...

  6. So... this was originally called "postponed" but since no new date has been annnounced, and the Mets will continue to have games for a while, does that make it "cancelled"?
