We must make sure that as many supporters send in notes as possible. Check the guide for some assistance in writing your public comment, if you have not done so already.
I'll be back tomorrow with a piece about the changing climate on Long Island, and to once again move up the graph.
Don't forget: I'll be on Preds on the Glass radio tomorrow evening from 8-9 PM EDT with Dee Karl of the 7th Woman Blog (and Hockeybuzz) and Katrina Doell from the Lighthouse Project. Should be a great discussion.
Also, in a very pleasant surprise, the Garden City News published my letter, unedited, on Friday, 4 days after I sent it in. There is also another note from a Lighthouse supporter in Garden City who questions the NIMBYism that has emerged from the village since the Lighthouse debate began. I think this is an important step toward establishing a dialogue between citizens in favor of the Lighthouse and citizens against it. Hopefully, this spirit continues, and sincere thanks to the Garden City News for publishing the letter.

Nick - OK, for the first time I am starting to feel really good about this, not just cautiously optimistic. I am just amazed that they published your letter. That is a really great sign.
